What is Stepping On?

Stepping On is an evidence-based fall-prevention program that meets virtually for two hours each week for 7 weeks total.

You will learn: Simple and fun balance and strength training; the role of vision in keeping your balance; how medications can contribute to falls; ways to stay safe when out in your community; what to look for in safe footwear; and how to check your home for safety. A guest MercyOne physical therapist and pharmacist will be joining us during a few sessions.

You must have access to a computer or phone with an internet connection and a webcam. If you do not have access to this technology, we would love to have you join us for an in-person workshop when it is safe to do so.

Online Class –a week prior to the first workshop, you will receive the link by email. You must have access to a computer or smartphone with an internet connection and a webcam.
