Together, we can prevent elder abuse. We all deserve to lead happy and healthy lives free from abuse as we age, yet older people are mistreated more often than we think. Elder abuse also creates health care and legal costs for our society. However, we can change this. It is up to all of us to work together to create a sturdy structure of support and prevent, notice and report abuse.

The Elder Rights Specialists from across the state have created a short video on a different type of elder abuse to be shared each day of the week.  Please take time to raise your awareness by viewing the videos on; Physical, financial exploitation, self-neglect, emotional, neglect, and sexual abuse. We can all get involved to create lasting local changes! Remember #Engage2Prevent and #WEAAD.
