Senior Medicare Patrol
(formerly Operation Restore Trust)

Senior Medicare Patrol (SMP) is a program funded through a grant from the Administration on Aging to detect and recover Medicare dollars lost to waste, fraud, or abuse. SMP recruits and trains retired individuals to provide community education presentations and individual counseling for Medicare beneficiaries. These volunteers help Medicare enrollees to better understand their Medicare Summary Notices, detect and resolve unintended errors, protect themselves from identity theft, and get answers to their questions.

Volunteers are also needed for public speaking and to distribute materials at conventions and fairs.
