Older Iowans Legislature (OIL)
With the final gavel of the 2004 Older Iowans Legislature (OIL) session, a new chapter began with the emerging of a new organization. A number of talented and dedicated older Iowans from across the state have begun the process of putting their brand of advocacy on the map… people who have volunteered their time to help those who may be unable to advocate for themselves.
The best advocates for our elders are elders themselves. We encourage all who are interested in OIL to take advantage of training experiences and educational programs being made available to help you make a difference.
