In-Home
Care
To help older adults remain independent in their own home,
Aging Resources assists in providing in-home care options.
In-Home care can include homemaker services, chore service,
home repair, mental health outreach, personal care and respite
care for the caregiver. Examples of in-home care are as follows:
•
Homemaker service – light housekeeping, preparing meals,
and shopping.
• Chore service – heavy housework, yard work,
and snow removal
• Home Repair – improving or maintaining the residence
of older adults.
• Mental Health Outreach – mental health assistance
for older adults unable to attend a community health center
or facility.
• Personal care – bathing and dressing assistance,
toileting, and transferring in and out of bed.
• Respite care – temporary support for caregivers
of dependent older adults to provide relief or rest.
