In-Home Care

To help older adults remain independent in their own home, Aging Resources assists in providing in-home care options. In-Home care can include homemaker services, chore service, home repair, mental health outreach, personal care and respite care for the caregiver. Examples of in-home care are as follows:

• Homemaker service – light housekeeping, preparing meals, and shopping.
• Chore service – heavy housework, yard work, and snow removal
• Home Repair – improving or maintaining the residence of older adults.
• Mental Health Outreach – mental health assistance for older adults unable to attend a community health center or facility.
• Personal care – bathing and dressing assistance, toileting, and transferring in and out of bed.
• Respite care – temporary support for caregivers of dependent older adults to provide relief or rest.
