Aging Resources Foundation accepted the responsibility to receive and distribute disaster relief funds for the needs of older Iowans who suffered significant personal losses in the Iowa Floods of 2008. All funds will be distributed statewide to older persons in greatest need in accordance with an established funding formula.
Aging Resources does not receive any compensation for administering these funds. Examples of funding requests include: access to housing, transportation, meal services, sanitation and home repair, clothing, medical devices, mental health care, and in-home care.
