Aging Resources of Central Iowa welcomes contributions from individuals and groups. The Holiday Meals-on-Wheels program and Strickler Emergency Assistance programs are supported entirely by your donations. If you would like to support either or both of these programs, please specify which program(s) you are funding, and mail your contribution to: Aging Resources of Central Iowa, 5835 Grand Avenue, Suite 106, Des Moines, IA 50312-1437.

Strickler Emergency Assistance: Aging Resources of Central Iowa created the Strickler Emergency Assistance Program to prevent unmet financial needs from threatening an older individual’s ability to remain independent in their own home. Your contribution will be used to help provide needed service(s) to at-risk older adults.
Holiday Meals-On-Wheels: Each year, Aging Resources of Central Iowa provides over 1,000 holiday meals to homebound and isolated older persons in central Iowa. Holiday meals are normally purchased at reduced cost from local restaurants, grocery store deli’s, and hospitals. Many volunteers happily give up a few hours of their holiday to provide this assistance for those in need. Your contribution will help provide a warm meal to an older adult who otherwise might not have anyone else reach out to them during their holiday.
