Bill Watch
Throughout the legislative process, bills are proposed for inclusion in the Iowa General Assembly. Drafts of bills are submitted through advocacy organizations such as the Older Iowans Legislature for discussion in committee, debate in the Session, and either approved or rejected. It is the hope that the proposed bills will proceed throughout the duration of the Session and be written into law which enhances the lives of older Iowans.
